About Hi-TechHi-Tech Electronics opened its doors in early 1983 as a small electronics repair shop working on just about anything that came in the front door. Television repair was our mainstay and carried us through the earliest years of operation. In 1985, Hi-Tech purchased the business portion of Tevco, another local electronics business. With a larger building and a better location on we soon expanded into marine electronics, car stereo, CB radios, scanners, TV antennas and many other accessories. Also about this time, demand for the 10 foot C band Satellite systems was growing and became a major part of our business.
Throughout our 23 years of operation, we have been dedicated to provide honest, reliable service at the best possible price. Along the way we have gathered a wonderful group of employees that share our love of the area and understand the needs of our customers. We greatly appreciate our local clientele and strive to give them the service they deserve. 1994 brought another move as we relocated to 2640 Highway 101 East on the east side of Port Angeles. With an even larger showroom and better visibility, we began selling the very popular mini dish satellite systems, Televisions, VCR’s and other home electronics.
As business through the 1990’s continued to grow, it was evident we would require an even larger building and plans to build our very own store began. After 2 years of searching for a site and construction of a new building, we opened our 4,000 square foot facility in January of 2002.
